Stop taking super high doses (more than 2,000 mg) of Vitamin C. That should only be done for 3 days at most. Otherwise it makes your body more acid than alkaline, and can cause digestive distress which is felt as chest pressure, and it's dehydrating. It would be smart to take a break from all your vitamin supplementation for awhile, it's very hard on the body. Synthetic vitamins should be done very sparingly, only food sources like super foods (nutritional yeast, wheat germ oil, eggs) can be done daily safely without overwhelming the liver.
It does sound like a circulation problem, which would mean a lack of essential fatty acids, potassium, lots of different things can contribute. Slow wound healing is always linked to zinc and vitamin A, but if you've been taking zinc then that's not the problem anymore, the slow circuation is.
Basil, cayenne, rosemary, onion, garlic, ginger, burdock root, ginseng, astralagus, horseradish, mustard, turmeric, all help to either increase circulation or thin the blood or purify the blood. See if you can drink teas, cook with these herbs, and find an herbal supplement to take. The Cleansing Drink will help a lot.
That in addition to exercise, alternating hot/cold compresses, massage, exercise and hydrotherapy will help loads too. The hydrotherapy can be very simple - after your regular shower, shoot some cold water at your mid-back for a count of ten. Then get out and warm up by vigorously toweling off. Massage oil into the skin to dilate the blood vessals, paying particular attention to problem areas like hands and feet.
Hope that helps! |
