This yoga asana is fantastic for waking up your digestive functions in the morning. It also helps to get rid of gas and massages the liver and bowels. It's so easy there's no excuse for not doing it.
All you have to do is lie on your back and pull your knees into your chest. Wrap your arms around your legs and hug them tight, taking care to leave your head resting comfortably on the floor or bed rather than straining your neck.
Then do one leg at a time, pulling on the knee with your hands. Feel the stretch in the hips and try to open them out a bit.
That's all there is to it!  |
