| Since I'm acneic, I'd like to get oils into my diet. Has anyone tried this total efa oil? If this isn't good, what's recommended instead? |

| Acne. Total EFA is the name of the oil made by Health from the Sun. It's supposed to have all Omega 3, 6, and 9 acids. |

wheat germ oil, cod liver oil, fish oils, sometimes flax seed oil or Udo's Choice. Cycle thru your oils. Add them to shakes, salad dressings, don't rely on pills, get the liquid oils in opaque bottles, refrigerated. Eat some lecithin at the same time so you can be sure you're digesting the oils.
the only pill oils I recommend is called TriOmega. It has only Omega 3's which is what we are usually too low in. Digests easily with no fishy taste. |

for fish oils, check the Sources forum for the link to the Nourishing Traditions sources, or catalogue for things recommended by Nourishing Traditions, or the Amazon sources post. Or get Garden of Life's cod liver oil.
Spectrum does good oils. |

Hi,
when you say cycle through our oils, do you mean only one certain type a day? or take a few different kinds everyday? And is there a certain way I need to balance these oils? |

I mean when it comes to refrigerated nutritional oils like wheat germ and cod liver and flax, don't buy every single one at once, because then you'll have them for a long time and they may go rancid. It's better to have one or two bottles at a time, finish them quickly, then go on to the next.
Cooking oils are much more stable. You can keep olive and coconut for a long long time, just store them in the dark pantry. |

| I use EFA from health from the sun and I find it very stable for a long time and heard that borage and evening primrose is a very good addition to the flax |
