Hi Shelley!

Grrr, I have had some weird symptoms after being around the nail polish which started the MCS again. After I was exposed to it, I got clamy hands and feet, just felt strange. Now, here is what is going on as well:

Lower left leg gets tingly and the muscle feel stiff
Left arm gets tingly
Retaining fluids especially in morning
Possible yeast infection which I have not had in years

Could this have triggered yeast problems again and my gosh, how?

I'm not certain if I need to do a full candida cleanse or what which is why I am asking you Smile

Darnit, how can one thing start all this crap, I was feeling pretty good until this Sad

I'll stick with one cod liver oil every other day like you suggested, thank you!

Sorry about all the questions, this just has me baffled.

Thank you again,

Lisa

Okay, burning feet is an actual symptom of deficiencies. Somehow you've used up all your folic acid, or perhaps Vitamin B5, which can easily happen when we get exposed to toxins.

It's also possible that you have wonky sodium and phosphorus but I'd have to see your diet to know for sure - it's hard to be low in either unless you're a vegetarian eating very limited diet. IT's very possible to be high in both if you're eating the standard American junk food diet. Candida diet people usually have good levels. But salt and phos wonkyness will also cause fluid retention so it's possible you wonked them out at least ratio wise. Since you have a very tight muscle, they're probably wonked in relation to Magnesium, so do what you can to up your magnesium a tad (Cal-Mag Fizz, an Epson Salt bath...)

Did you read my post on sulphur? People who are hypersensensitive and react to everything should look into whether they are sulphur sensitive or lacking Taurine. Definitely look into the taurine deficiency, as taurine regulates fluids.

Hope that helps! Smile

Hi Shelley!

Wow, it's mind blowing how much you know! I enjoy reading the board when I am feeling better just to learn, really cool Smile

So I wonked my system and need to replenish it, I'll get started on that ASAP.

I do know I irked the yeasties, I have a yeast infection for the first time in long, long time. You think your body is strong, you feel pretty darn good and then...smack.

I did read something on sulphur and now I can't find the post Embarassed

I'm going to soak in Epsom salts, drink fiber, juice, take a probiotic, jump on the trampoline, sweat and get a mineral supplement.

Do you think I need to do much for the candida other than that?

My diet is fairly simple, eggs or oatmeal for breakfast, turkey burger and veggies for lunch or salad, chicken, veggies and maybe rice for dinner with a brown rice waffle for a snack before bed.

I don't eat junk food, not a vegan but type A blood so red meat isn't something I eat often. I was doing fine with sugar, I wasn't consuming a lot but had been and still felt fine. Now, I'm going to avoid it with this infection, I know my system got irked.

How does that sound or should I do more?

Thank you, thank you!

Hi Shelley!

I replied to your earlier post above but this is another flippin symptom, I'm hoping it points to a few things that are specific that I can do.

My lips are peeling and the skin on the bottom of my feet has gotten almost leathery and shiny, still the tingling and if I put any pressure on them, the skin turns bright red.

I have had this before, never knew why?

Again, I apologize for the bombarding questions Smile

Thank you!

It's a pretty common problem - lack of B vits and possibly bile leads to EFA deficiency even if you're eating enough of them, and soon the soles of our feet look like leather and our lips peel like crazy.

So eat some protein shakes with both lecithin and NYF for the B's or a B50 complex, take digestive enzymes for a couple weeks, eat EVCoconut oil if your body likes it, Udo's Choice, wheat germ or wheat germ oil, avocadoes, and cleansing carrot salad. Your diet is pretty good, but not extremely nourishing unless you include at least one superfood several times a week.

Sounds like your diet is just a little low in taurine, so you might want to take 500 mg once a day for a week. Zinc is also a good idea, make sure your mineral supplement has plenty of zinc.

The rest of your plan is great. You should be back in shape in no time.

Smile
