Hi Pbaby!
I'm getting all the rain but so far no worries. I'm about 4 miles from Huntington Beach on a totally flat plain, so no mudslides and so far no flash flooding. But there are plenty of places I can't drive to because the water in the intersections is too high for my car.
This kind of flooding happens about once every 7-10 years. the rest of the time we rarely see any rain, and that tends to happen at night while we sleep. So I don't think we Californians have much to complain about, unless of course our house just slid down a canyon wall.
There have been some incredible rainbows and cloud formations and I've managed to get out and see some sun today, take the dogs for a walk, so I'm happy. |
