Hey Shelley,
My little bro just started a construction summer job, and he's suffering from a bit of trigger finger. Do you know what causes this? All I can really find on google is tendon irritation, so is this like weak/stressed tendons, or acid deposits, etc? He does not eat a good diet, and although I try to encourage him to eat a more whole foods, alkaline diet, it doesn't always happen. It's like, you know how it is with teenage guys, they don't know how to cook so then the only option becomes to eat moreless premade foods. Is there anything he can do without having to make a big change in diet? I got him on emergen-c joit formula with glucosamine/chrondroitin, and I'll give him some of my calmag-fizz. Would baking soda or anything else help? |

It depends on his other symptoms, but he might need a bit of chelated chromium, especially if he has a diet high in sugar, and some sulphur/MSM. Otherwise your recommendations are solid and should help a lot.
Try to get him to at least forego frozen occasionally and eat at the better fast food places like Chipotle, Quiznos or Baja Fresh, or take advantage of Delis and their ready-made salads or salad bars at grocery stores. All very convenient and healthy for the non-cook. |
