Can exercise where you sweat vigorously for a long time dehydrate you and cause constipation?

If you don't replace the fluids you've lost, absolutely!!! You should drink the Rehydrating Drink, or a commercial one (I like mine better, not as sweet) before and after every workout.

I weighed myself before hiking I was 220 lbs. when I got back I was 214 lbs. During the hike I drank about 45 ounces of water. When I got home I was still thirsty. I wonder if that was 6 lbs. of fluids. that left me.

I think my body adjusted, I did use oxy powder to get me over the hump though.
