I have a massive jar of this in my cupboard, from a year ago (sell by 2009).
Is it healthy to add this to my diet, maybe in my morning protein shake? Or am i better off without it, & best to just give the jar away?
The ingredients list is looong - includes barley grass leaf powder (is this good for us ... I know fresh wheatgrass isn't), protein from brown rice/yellow pea, and it's pretty high on stevia ...
The product label lists everything, including vits, mins, enzymes, herbs, antioxidants, probiotics etc

I never know with all-in-ones like this - is it great because we are getting all these wonderful things - or is it "confusing" to the body - or actually are the amounts too small to make a difference ...?

| What I've decided after using many bottles of Garden of Life's version of supergreen food is that the amounts are way too small and too processed to do any good. Nothing beats juicing, fermenting, soups, broths and salads except for NYF, eggs and the other superfoods that I list in the FAQ. I mean to delete the recommendations for veggie pills but I can't alter the FAQ now, unfortunately, due to some changes that DRagan made to the system. Going to have to start fresh one of these days to solve that issue. |
