| Is it safe to liver flush if you have leaky gut, i have done 4 liver flushed this year last one was about 3 months ago. The liver flushes however seemed to bring back my candida and make acne worse. I have just finished a 3 month candida diet, i feel in good health but am still getting acne on my face, back and chest. I think maybe starting to cleanse my liver again may help , but is it safe to do with leajy gut because of all the bile which is released ? |

Hei Monique!
how thoroughly did you do bowel management in advance of flushing? Since I also have leaky gut, I wonder how much management you did in advance of the flushes. Did you just go _head-on_, or did you supplement with liver herbs and all that stuff?
And to all:
I find also a bit contradicting whether one should go through parasite cleanse before or after a liver flush. Some say (Hulda Clark I guess..) that flushing without cleansing for parasites will release even more toxins and over-burden the liver extremely (if there's parasites present..). And I also found a post in the archives here where Shelley recommended to do liver flushing before parasite cleansing, in order to have a -not so congested- liver when starting on a parasite cleanse. I know this might seem confusing, and maybe I'm messing around here, but this seems like a catch 22. To have a clean liver you must do parasite cleansing, and to do parasite cleansing you are better off with a clean liver. What's the best to start with?
Things are going great for the moment, candida diet under total control (no indulging or cravings), mood and motivation call for some seerious liver and parasite management, although I already eats lots of lecithin, grated beets and such. Pancreatic enzymes are added on the diet, and they make me feel soo much better.
Happy christmas and cleansing to everyone! |

| Parasite cleansing is highly toxic. It's best to be as clean as possible before poisoning oneself. Hulda Clark was a bit of an extremist. If you've never been one for the great outdoors and grew up in a city with no pets, chances are very good that you have no parasites and would only hurt yourself for no reason. |

Glad you said that, Shelley!
I am very skeptical of taking anything that has wormwood in it, after all it's herb of absinthe, right?
I have grown up in an urban/suburban area and never had pets, but I went to Africa last january (for a month). But that doesn't have to mean you are most def. parasite prone, does it(?)
A question concerning a balanced blood pH and parasites; is it true that protozoa, parasites and candida ONLY can survive in a body ecology with acidic blood pH? Can an alkalizing diet help you to get rid of those ugly bugs, by balancing the pH levels in your body (ex. making the stomach more acid so the parasites no longer can live there)? Robert Young, the author of "the pH miracle" claims this.. (Sorry for the messy english this time..)

Ah, a trip to Africa... well, most of the bugs you'd get from a trip are just the food bugs that cause dysentary and then leave. You can do a parasite expusion test and see if any biggies come out, that doesn't require anything poisonous.
Hi Philip! No, that's too much of an oversimplification and bad chemistry to be true. Our blood pH is very closely guarded. It has to be within specific ranges at all times or we short-circuit and die a horrible death. And blood pH has very little to do with stomach pH. And stomach pH has a differnt pH than blood pH, and a differnt pH from small intestine pH, etc. Once a larvae survivies stomach acids (which they will if it's weakened by too many fluids and calcium lactate), they quickly grow to visible size in our intestines, and at that point they can survive ANYthing much like a flea or tick can. They are amazing survivors.
Now it IS true that certain protozoa (bacterial microbes) flourish in the ALKALINE environment that yeasts promote. See, they always get that wrong, saying "acid is bad." That's how you know you're talking to a Quack. Acidophilus, the good guy, is an ACID LOVING microbe. That's what the name means. Yeast loves ALKALINE environments!!! It flourishes in our small intestine, which is alkaline. Alkaline solutions can be just as "acidic" (corrossive) as an acid. In fact, much MORE so. Again, the whole pH argument is just bad bad chemistry.
However, it is true that eating tons of meats and sugars will make our blood stream more "acid" (as in phosphorous) until the body can correct it, and it will rob our bones of calcium in order to neutralize the bad effects of an imbalanced, bad nutrition diet. |

Hi Philla!
Well before my first liver flush I did a fast with lots of fiber and really cleaned out the pipes. I got out lot of things.
Then before the flushes I just take lots of fiber shakes, and the night before the flush I do an enema. On the day of the flush I eat nothing and do another enema.
Efter the flush many enemas and many fiber shakes. |
