Shelley,
Since I'm trying to start a candida diet, is Ezekiel bread safe for eating?
I have not had any gluten grains in a long time either, and I know Candida diet does not allow it. But is it totally fine to eat the sprouted grains in Ezekiel bread? And is the gluten gone from it when it is sprouted, or at least easier to digest, not feeding yeasties/bothering intestines?
Other ingredients I am worried about: Fresh Yeast.
I keep getting confused over the Yeast -- Can we eat foods that have Yeast in them, like most Breads do? Does Yeast feed Yeast, or no?
I also thought that soybeans are bad, unless fermented, but is it safe to have this Bread since it has Sprouted Soybeans?
And the Malted Barley in it? Isn't that Sugar? Though it says there are 0 grams of sugar, I'm still not sure.
There are a lot of different sprouted GRAINS in this, and I worry if grains can turn into SUGAR.
~Thank you!!
I'm hoping I can eat this stuff, I miss sliced bread, haven't had it for awhile |

Hiya shelley
Please would you be able to let me know when you have time?
I'm just mainly scared about the:
--> YEAST
--> MALTED BARLEY = Sugar?
--> Gluten GRAINS
Will the Starchiness or Ingredients FEED THE YEAST in our bodies?
I haven't eaten the bread yet, but would hope to understand if it is okay to - even daily.
XOXO Hugs! |

One answer I can offer is, the yeast isnt a direct problem for candida, because yeast cannot feed on yeast! The problem with yeast risen breads is more the rancid oils, slow transit time and gluten that irritates and simple sugars that feed the candida already in the intestine.
Im not sure about the bread you mention, Ive never seen it in the UK! |

| If you like the taste you can try adding it in after 3 months. Otherwise, don't bother. It's really not all that good for you. Best to make your own tortillas from brown rice flour. |
