Hello, I am starting this journal for my own use and for others to see where I am
presently. I started cleansing in mid 2005 after my acne got alot worse,
I had often acne, colds, bad moods, headaches, lousy lifestyle, etc.
I've been thru the usual creams, anti biotics and even a 3 month course
on ACCUTANE to fix my acne.

So after all that, I didn't get rid of my acne, I didn't get anywhere,
I still suffered from painful cysts and whiteheads, it looked gross and
felt even worse.

My cysts were on my cheeks, jaw line, chest, neck, back and they weren't all
co current, I would get a bunch in different places from time to time, the
whiteheads were the main problem, as well as oily skin. The whiteheads were on my forehead,
nose, cheeks, chin, neck.. I also couldn't eat alot of stuff without breakouts!

Here is what I am doing presently:

Sleeping

I go to bed between 9pm/11pm and I am awake by 8am, I am awake without any crap keeping my eyelids
closed without being tired and feel rested and ready for the day, my energy lasts the entire day as
well, well into 11pm.

Going to sleep early is a vital thing for me, before I couldn't do it because of
a bad structure and wanting to watch late night movies and the need to be entertained, now I just
don't care about it.


Eating at intervals

I actually now have a breakfast, lunch and dinner -- before it was kind of a mess, snacking
and eating way after 8pm sometimes. I now eat a light breakfast and build hunger and have
a proper lunch, having some good oil the morning is vital for this to actually work and not backfire.


Yoga

Yoga asana's are way better than exercise, I still go light jogging but there is no guilt in
missing certain things or feeling lazy, doing the yoga breathing control has helped heaps too.
It brings out a good light sweat also.


Giving up on topical care

Besides washing my face with warm water (no soap) and gentle exfoliation, I don't apply
a vast array of creams, chemicals to aid in curing my acne anymore. It really doesn't
help much, some neem to aid in any healing but thats it. I use to wash twice a day with soap, now I just
wash in the morning without any soap.

Fats

They never tell you about the fats, I had dry skin and dry elbows -- I totally lacked good oils, now
I have cod liver, ghee, olive oil, etc -- I totally avoid fake butter and any other hydronated stuff.

Before I use to breakout when eating high fat, I thought this was because of some acne related thing,
but infact, my liver was full of stones!

BMs / Enemas

I wasn't eliminating everything I was eating, I wasn't getting enough fiber or enough water, but now
I feel I generally get everything 'out', and then some. I also got myself an enema kit and have an
enema once a week or so. I also have some triphala before bedtime and that has helped alot too.

Water / Tea

I drink upto 2L of clean mineral water a day, with green teas, peppermint teas as well as herbs and
things like organic apple cider vinegar (3x a day)

Food

I eat broccoli, spring onions, mung beans, black eyed peas, chickpeas, peas, cabbage, bitter melons,
mushrooms, okra, green beans, string beans, etc in veggies as well as green apples, red apples, sometimes
mangos and pommegrantes. I have dairy in the forms of watered down yogurt (with jeeru, tumeric) and cottage cheese.

other spices and herbs: turmeric, jeeru, ginger (fresh), dill seeds, cinnamon, fennel, neem leaves, etc..

After learning about food combining I eat fruit alone in the morning and don't eat after 5pm except water
or apple cider vinegar drinks, I tend to avoid as many pitta imbalancing things as I can. I avoid processed
salt and use sea salt instead.


Liver flushes

I take a tbsp of good oil in the morning followed by a 1 tbsp ACV in 1 cup of water because I don't
eat much at the time and I don't want stagnation. I've done 5 major liver flushes with either cold virgin OO
and Lemon and sometimes sunflower oil.

I've gotten out alot of small tan stones (and some green) my third liver flush had the most stones, I've only
experienced mood changes and anger with my fourth flush. I now sometimes get stones without trying if I
have a high fat/high protein meal, say cottage cheese and ghee.

After the ACV and Malic acid (from green applies) my stones are generally smaller and more flakey rather
than the bigger stones I use to get, still I haven't gotten them ALL out.

I tend to do a fast every two weeks followed by a liver flush.

Pills

I try and get everything I need from my food, here is what I can get: Vit A, C, D (less), E (less), K, Zinc,
Iron, Iodine, etc.. I don't eat much dairy and I had a bad breakout around my mouth which stopped after
taking Vitamin B complex, so I take that only every other day.

Past Symptoms

Cold hands and feet
Lack of sustained energy
hunger -- wasn't eating what my body needed, so felt more hungry than I was
slightly overweight


Current Symptoms

My skin has improved ALOT -- I still get some whiteheads, but now it's mainly red marks where I get herx
reactions due to the liver kicking back up (like on the tip of my nose) sometimes I get spots on the
top edge of my lip. Now I think it's mainly about fixing my liver and just improving what goes in my body.
helping my bowels along is another thing too.

Shelley told me, just to keep helping the liver/bowels anyway, so thats what I am doing!

I am currently directionless in what to add to my cleansing protocol, it is working and now I've stepped
on the pedal and can't really go faster than this (or can I?) hmmm..

Wow,

It seems I've done alot more in the last year than I thought I had, but now that I've
written it all down, it seems strangely huge - my last LF produced the SCARIEST FEAR ever!
yikes! I didn't know what I was scared about but I was scared, the kind of fear that tenses up your
tummy and makes your mouth dry.. it passed thank god.

Now when my mood changes, I know my liver is doing something.
