If while cleansing or any other time you end up with severe cravings for sour foods, go for it. What's usually happening is your body is exiting certain acids that are the by-products of protein digestion. Sour foods tend to be rich in the compounds that help the body break down and exit these acids.

A craving for sour can also be a sign that proteins are putrefying in your colon. This can happen due to constipation, bad food combining, or eating a meal too large for the power of your digestion. In that case, take a mild laxative or do an enema, drink the Cleansing Drink, liquid chlorophyll or a very green drink:

4 carrots
handful parsley
handful spinach
3 beet tops or kale
1/2 apple, seeded.

If you want a sweet/sour drink, this is really fun:

3-4 apples, seeded. Try using a green/red apple like Fuji.
1/4 lemon. Push the lemon thru the juicer with the apple.

Drink as is or mix with fizzy water.

If it's not sweet enough, add some green grape juice.
