This is how I began my day every day for awhile back in my 20's. It kept me very safe, aware, grounded and able to meet my goals. It is a meditation that was recommended to a world-traveler and truth seeker by several different wise women on several different continents. I'd recommend his book but it's out of print now.
Stand comfortably straight facing away from any windows or light sources, hands hanging down at your sides.
Close your eyes and imagine a brilliant white light coming up from the ground - the core of the earth - and enveloping your entire body, cocooning it.
Say to yourself or out loud: "I call upon the Cosmic Forces*, asking them for Strength, Guidance and Protection."
*substitute any word you feel comfy with here for your personal Higher Power.
Repeat the statement 3 times. Feel the energy - does it increase?
This is a good time to ask for any specific help with manifestation or process, such as asking that a business meeting go smoothly.
Cross your arms over your chest like an Egyptian statue. This closes the connection and keeps stored whatever energy you took in. Say "Thank you" one or three times, as you see fit. I tend to say: "Thank you for all that you've done. Thank you for all that you will do. Thank you for listening."
Go about your normal day.
I found my quota of "coincidences" and serendipity increased 100% when I did this meditation regularly. Right now I'm working on other things but I'll probably go back to this one someday.  |
