must admit i feel really good after fasting on just juices yesterday. i will try this every week or so.
my insides feel so comfortable and clean
i took some colosan last night and this morning in my liquidy bm i found one whitish stone which i've seen before on the net.
tried crushing and it was soft. it was about an inch long, maybe a little smaller.
i think there are maybe a few more stones left but there not in a hurry to come out but i will perservere. i did feel a little disillusioned though at first but i trust my body and i'm sure that it is working slowly to heal.
i dont think its something to rush
i think that in a couple of weeks i will start my weight training regime but slowly. i havent felt this light in ages!!

Hi SC
I think fasting one day a week is awesome for the body.
When you say you think there may be a few more stones in there do you mean in the liver and gallbladder, or in the colon?
Your post sounds so up,so I take it to be in your gallbladder or liver and that you consider this a successful flush.
I've been trying to get in another flush but my timing with other life commitments has been causing me a bunch of delays.I hope to start a series of flushes next weekend and go for 6 every other or third weekend.
I love this time of year. My energy levels seem to really increase with spring.
Anyway, I'm glad you are making good progress.
Be well,
Harmony |

Honestly, my best flush was when I ate high-fat meal the day of the flush. It doesn't have to be heavy, just an easy to digest soup. I think it would be better to fast after, take some Colosan, and liquify any remaining stones in the small and large intestine. My first meal is usually high in fiber, like oatmeal. That way it'll absorb toxic bile, toxins, and probably stones. |

hoppy has some good points.
I myself generally mono diet the day prior, and it usually is something pretty enjoyable and fast moving. I love doing a day of fresh ripe pineapple. The last couple of flushes I did, I also ate lighter than normal and drank Shelley's cleansing drink for the week prior. I really love it now, and it really is very cleansing. Since doing the cleansing drink I haven't had any crisis'sfollowing a flush. I have been energetic and up.
Which is fabulous because some other flushes I had some of the typical flu like sysmtoms, fatigue, and sereveral rough emotional spikes that really make reving up to do another flush tough.
As for the day following I still keep it fast moving, and I follow up with enemas to move any loosened junk along. I also always focus on rehydrating and make sure to have some Emergen C.
Diet wise I pretty much try to stick to vegan Monday thru thrusday, then add in some clean fish , meats, eggs or cheese on the weekend, along with an occassionally indulgence . ( I am human - ha ha) I certainly have fallen off for periods of time, which always results in less than pleasant side effects.
I like to liquid fast on Mondays to cleanup so to speak. I like to stick to one thing, that way I can see if I notice what if any effect it has on me.
WHat is your favorite juice? |

i havent tried many juices. but my fav so far is watermelon juice. i could live off that. i like sweet and spicey things!!
. normally on the day of flush i eat very well, lightly and simply. do you think having oats is slow moving? i seem to have slow transit times lately, i think. i dont know why and i'm starting to get a few spots
i'm quite stressed with work so that might have some thing to do with it..
does a flush still work if there is food still in the stomach?
thanks

Yep, a flush still works if there is food in the stomach, having food there just makes things a bit more complicated. You can get more nausea, for instance. And if you take the large doses of Epsom salts that Clark recommends things can get bad because of what Es does to digestion.
But there is one flush that is quite powerful and it requires you to eat berries and cream. The fruit pushes the cream right to the liver so that bile is produced in mass quantities.
Oats can be a problem because they're a gluten grain and yes, slow moving. Complex carb grains are some of the slowest digsting things we can eat. That's a plus when we're hypoglycemic, but not when we're planning on flushing! |

| Would it be o.k. if your first meal after a LF is oatmeal with A LOT of ground flax seeds? Will the mass amount of fiber absorb and hopefully exit the body faster? |

| yep, that's fine. You're supposed to eat a high-fiber diet post flush, especially if you're not doing colonics/enemas. |

yeah, any magnesium citrate will do, about 500 mg should do it.
The fruit/cream (berries and heavy whipping cream, or ice cream are best) can be eaten 2-3 hours prior to the oil/juice concoction. This helps the liver produce even more bile, and the cream is soothing.
But for coated tongue, nothing beats having both ginger and peppermint tea prior to the oil/juice. And Eater's Digest helps ensure that everything moves along rather than backing up. |

about 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of heavy cream, or large scoop of ice cream, to about 1/2 cup of berries. |
