Yes, very safe and very effective, just not easy to find OTC so I rarely recommend it.

Glutathione is a very important compound, a powerful anti-oxidant made up of 3 amino acids. It is needed throughout the body for various reasons, and is especially important for the liver. Most liver complexes will include it but it doesn't work so well orally. Inhaling it is the most effective, sublinguilly will work too.

also, i have pain in my kidney area, does the liver ever hurt or throb when it's feeling all toxic? oh another question....she said that this stuff will help my brain fog....what do you think?

Nope, no side effects. Glutathione is something our bodies manufacture naturally, just not always enough, especially when the liver is clogged.

Comprehensive liver cleansing helps brain fog tremendously. The liver is our body's main filter. Imagine a swimming pool or fish tank with no filter - it would have gross water pretty quickly, right? Imagine trying to think with blood that polluted! If I were you I wouldn't rely ONLY on glutathione, I'd start drinking peppermint tea, dandelion, burdock root, and taking a good all-around herbal supplement for the liver. There's a list of good ones in the FAQ and the Sources forum.

Kidney distress rarely manifests in the kidney area, which is mid-low back. Usually back pain below the shoulder blades is due to mineral derangement. Kidney distress usually is felt in the flanks. If you had kidney stones or a UTI believe me, you'd know! The pain of kidney stones is rated as bad as childbirth.

The liver will hurt when it's toxic, we call that "liver heat." You can feel the pain where the liver is sometimes (upper right quadrant of the abdomen), but usually it refers. We tend to feel it like an ulcer that's both in our tummies and upper-back, shoulder and/or shoulder blade burning pain. Really awful.

yes, absolutely. Cleansing the bowels and liver repeatedly and keeping them clean in time cleanses everything else. Your kidneys just need adquate fluids and a strong liver and healthy bowels to do their job, the Cleansing Drink really helps them out too. It helps everything out.

Thorough, comprehensive liver cleansing along with adequate fat intake of raw, cold oils full of E and A (cod liver oil, wheat germ oil) will help you do some metals detox, oh yes. It will especially help with any new contacts you have with bad metals. But metals get out of the bloodstream within 48 hours and get deposited in fatty tissues, including the brain. So to get them out of there you really need chelators like ALA. If you lose weight and body fat, you will release some thru that too, and liver/bowel management concurrently will ensure that they don't just get stored someplace new.

To chelate pesticides you really need to get HOT and SWEAT. That's where my Detox Bath comes in. Lots of toxins can only be exited via sweat glands.

I like to think of liver/bowel management and Detox Baths as very slow, safe chelation therapy.

could be seasonal changes, or just time for cleansing. The drink will help. Keep an eye on your tongue; if it gets coated drink ginger/peppermint tea.

You can find the cleansing drink recipe here:
