I seem to have made a mess...Oops.
So, what is a good natural product to use to clean splattered, burned olive oil from the inside of your oven? I hesitate to spray Easy Off and have the noxious fumes permeate my home. |

Baking soda is what I use when I need to scour with something abrasive that's safe. Take about 1 cup of baking soda and start adding water to it until it makes a paste. Be sure to use immediately, it can get hard fast. Just apply with a good scrubbing cloth - I visit Home depot for this box of blue scrubbing cloths that have no additives, they're just more abrasive and tougher than paper towels. Or you can use a steel wool pad, just be sure to get the ones with no soap additives.
If I don't have much to scrub I just use vinegar and water. And vinegar/water works best on the glass part of the oven too.
Course we just replaced our oven with a newer model so now we have a self-cleaning oven. Yippeeeeeee!
Hope that helps! |

| Those new steamers that they sell on QVC work great. Try that. Better than any other. |
