Hi Shelley and co

Ok, did my first liver flush last night but didn't pass many stones at all. Just very small green stones, perhaps 20 of them. It's still only mid morning, and I'm still feeling quesy...maybe more to come.

It was a pretty weird experience. I couldn't sleep, was getting flushes and am still feeling nausious (spelling?) like I want to throw up (but i haven't)

Does this mean I should follow up with another flush tonight?

Also, my skin continues to break out. During this week, taking the cleansing drinks etc, my skin's been breaking out and this morning, especially bad...can someone tell me...is this normal? I'm ok to wait it out, but I'm wondering if my skin doesn't like the acidic content of the lemon or something.

Thank you!

I think the most important thing is to get all of the stuff that flushed out of your liver out of your body as quick as possible. Yes, very likely more stones will pass out of you, but even if they don't, you can be sure that toxins have been excreted, and are moving out of your body. Hence the nausea and the breakouts. Have you don't a salt water flush before? I would do one now to get everything out as quick as possible. Also, after my first flush, I knew to eat light, but I ate salmon for lunch, and got so nauseous. I felt that way for a few days after I ate fat. So when they say eat light, think lowfat for a few days...

Oh, and about the lemon juice, lemon is acidic, but when it digests it turns alkaline in your system, so it's a great way to make your body more alkaline. When you first start cleansing, you break out more as more toxins are released into your blood stream. But as your organs get clean and are able to take up the burden of toxins, your skin can take a break. I believe I read that the skin is the body's last resort for excreting toxins when the organs have more than they can handle...

Hi Shell! Congrats on a successful flush!

Even 20 stones is quite a lot if you're a small person. 20 stones is usually the most I ever saw myself. Smile

It is best to wait at least 2-4 weeks in between flushes because you release a LOT of toxins, and the stones strain the bile ducts. It's really a type of surgery when you think about it. Don't take it lightly, it's a very stressful procedure! Don't over do! Smile

Be sure to keep cleansing your bowels any way you can. There may be more stones. If you're still feeling queazy, that means there are toxins/oil still in the small intestines that need to be forced out. Fennel/peppermint tea is ideal for that, or a laxative like cascara sagrada combined with flax/psyllium. Try to eat a high-fiber, fast-transit diet for the next 3 days.
