Not sure if this is the right forum - if not do move.
I've lost loads of weight this last 6 months, far too quickly - about 3 stone. (The result of a really shitty time - businesswise - thankfully over.)
I'm now about a stone lighter than I've ever been, since I was a teenager, and, like a lot of people, most of the excess was around my waist and belly.
The positive side of this weight loss is a REALLY trim waistline! The negative is a ghastly wrinkled belly; its as though all the fat got sucked out from under the top layer, which has then sort of collapsed into these hideous wrinkles.
What can I do? I'm am still under loads of work pressure (but now positive) so cant take time to prepare special meals; but I dont eat junk food unless you think adding Suzie Wong sauce to chicken and eating it with wild rice is junk.
Any advice? Wonder if I might be dehydrated as the wrinkles dont look so bad when I've just got out of the bath. |

This is definitely the right forum for this.
Ah, this is why slow weight-loss is best - it gives the skin a chance to keep up with the change! Frequent massage with coconut oil, avocado oil, castor oil packs and skin brushing will help it regain its elasticity.
To gain some of the weight back it's best to start exercising a bit to get the support muscles in gear (long walks and abs) so you can keep your slim waist line.
As to how to get the weight back depends on your Dosha. Kichadi and Protein shakes with extra eggs are safe for any dosha or metabolic type or blood type, so definitely go for those, but check the list of rebuilding foods and see which ones suit your needs and start adding them.
You can increase the size of your meals if your power of digestion is at its peak and you follow the general guidelines for keeping it at its peak.
The Vata diet is a great diet for gaining weight but not one you can have every single day of the week - even if you're a vata!
Honey, heavy cream, cheese and liberal use of butter are my favorite ways of keeping up my weight. |
