Hi Shelley................
I hope today finds you doing well!!!!!! My son and I send our regards.
Shelley, what can you do for a sluggish thyroid?......I remember we
tried Dr. C's thyroid thingy....but had some bad reactions......what else
can I take to get my thyroid back to normal ?....I really need to loose
weight, and no matter what I do...it won't come off. I feel all the
"symptoms" of a sluggish (underactive) thyroid.....so, what do you
suggest?.....thanks again Shelley.
sincerely, Starlight |

A hyperactive thyroid can lead to weight gain too, because you end up burning off all your muscle tissue. So raising the thyroid is NOT the answer. Since taking thyroid supplements made you feel awful before, chances are your thyroid is totally normal. The problem with your metablism is with your liver.
The liver is where you get 80% of your energy from the Krebs Cycle, where calories are turned into energy. The other 20% are done in muscle mass. So the best way to increase metabolism and burn excess fat is the cleanse the liver and build up muscle tissue.
Thoroughly cleanse the bowels first, get into the habit of drinking lots of digestive teas, and start your liver management. That will also help the thyroid function normally, as the thyroid hormones are processed by the liver. All of the symptoms you've ever listed are related to liver congestion. The liver is key. Focus on that.
When I turned 40 I had 5 pounds I couldn't lose no matter how well I calorie counted or how many meals I skipped. I did 2 liver flushes and lost a pants size in 10 days without dieting one bit. |
