I just finished my 5 day bowel cleanse with the P&B shakes. I do an enema every morning while doing them, and this morning when I did it, two clumps of really thin, stringy looking stuff came out. My firstthough was that they were worms. I have only seen stuff like that come out of when I have done the parasite cleanse. What could it have been. I wasn't thinking it was some kind of worm, b/c I haven't been taking anything that would cause them to be expelled, they just looed very 'worm-like'. Any thought you have would be greatly appreciated:) |

they were whitish and thin...like the width of thread, maybe a little thicker. I am guessing when I say this, but my impression is that if you were to stretch it out straight, each one would be about a yard long. What was it? I passed plaque on my last cleanse. black rubbery stuff. This is definately not the same thing! What is it!! |

| okay whitish strings means yeast. You had a lot of yeasties growing in one particular place, probably wherever that placque was stuck. |

It means cleanse more thoroughly this time around.
P&B shakes definitely aren't enough, you need to add some coconut oil (skip the clay when you do this) or an anti-fungal into the mix (see the recipe for the anti-Candida fiber shake, I think it's still a post in the Candida forum), and you need to do a LOT of probiotics, cultured foods and prebiotics too.
And since that thing was stuck for a long time, that means your intestines need strengthening and a bit of reshaping so read about prolapsed colon, that protocol is useful. You need to use mild laxatives - Triphala, fennel tea - and every now and then stop the fiber shakes and use an astringent/tightener/toner instead for a couple days.
Good luck! |

Could you tell me what to take as far as anti-fungals? Also I couldn't seem to find the recipe for the particular fiber shake you recomended... I am making keifer now and drinking it every morning. I am trying to stick to my 75% live foods diet. I am doing OK ...not perfect yet I still need to make kraut. I am taking Primalk defense, but I only have a half bottle. I am also taking HCI. The same person who told me I should eat 75% live also suggested I not mix proteins and starches in my meals ( that's a hard one for me!)
Also, a side note about keifer... when I drink it in the mornigng I get really spacey, but Im not sure if its the keifer or if its b/c I am used to eating a more substantial breakfast, like rice or quinoa with eggs. |

probably because you need something more substantial.
Sigh. Whenever I hear that rule, "don't mix starches with protein" I just want to SCREAM. It's so incorrect it's laughable. It's impossible to find, in nature/plants, a starch without protein and vice versa. So if that were hard for us to digest, we'd be dead by now. The human race just would not have survived. And the healthiest cultures out there mix legumes and rice all the time for perfect protein/starch.
Now muscle meats can be a problem, but that's only because we tend to eat meals that are way too large. A whole baked potato AND 8-12 ounces of steak is too much for anyone but 300 pound Linebackers to digest.
So long as you keep the rule of only eating what you can cup in both hands, and avoiding drinking lots of fluids with the meal, you can combine anything but melons.
So read the power of digestion rules and toss out the rest. You'll feel better, you'll EAT better, and you'll get more energized while still feeing nicely grounded!
There's a list of good anti-fungals in the FAQ. The Fiber shake for candida uses Caproil, which means finding a bottle of Caprylic Acid, mixing it into another oil like olive oil, then adding it to your fiber shake. The fiber traps it and so spreads the oil on your intestines as it goes by, killing the yeast there. Just swallowing pills of caprylic acid does nothing.
If you can't find a bottle of caprylic acid that isn't in gelatin pills, then use Coconut oil, ACV, GSE and fiber.
Hope that helps! |
