Hi Shelley,

I'm curently on my ninth day of fasting. I started with a juice fast, but got tired of it after 4 days so i skiped to a water fast on wich i'm for my fifth day, brining up a total of 9 unbroken days with no food. I go to the woods every day to get some excercise and sun, do hot showers with cold finished and enemas. I drink natural spring water of very high quality. All in all i think i have it all covered. The only think i don't understand i why i get acidic stomach every now and then. LIke this morining, i woke up with acid, even had a bit of a reflux/heartburn. I also seem to burp now and then. It's not a vey strong acid, but still. I also sometimes have a bit strange breath, not really noticable, but i can sense something is a bit off. A very very light version of "something died in my mouth".

I had coated tounge for a few moths (not candida, definately), wich prompted me to fast. (along with poor digestion/bases). I can scrape a good deal of white creamy substance of it with my teeth (very light scraping, only mild preasure) , and 10 minutes later i can do it again. It just goes on and on, lots of toxins i guess, probably form the liver? I can scrape some extra after hot/cold shower. Anyway, my realy question is about the acid. What is up with that?

Thanks in advance!

that could be a lot of things. There may be too much coating in the stomach, small intestine, bile ducts, that is causing a back-flow. That compromises the skin and mucosa layer, which then allows stomach acids to burn. It would be best to do some fiber shakes and digestive teas like peppermint/ginger/cinnamon - which will also make that tongue coat and intestine coat go away much faster.

If it really is excess acids due to not eating (type O's tend to get this) then the best thing to do while fasting is to take calcium carbonate to neutralize it. But don't assume acid burning pain is excess acid, as that is one of the top 10 misdiagnosis out there thanks to the companies that sell Nexium, Tums etc. AFter I liver flushed I never had "acid reflux" ever again.

I'm breaking my fast today, and doing the liver flush on the next full moon (friday), so hopefully it will clear it all. Didn't have any acid yesterday or today, it was 3 out of 9 day i had the problem i think.

Thanks!
