Hi Shelley,
I have a few questions hopefully you can help me with.
- Are Bentonite/Psyllium shakes safe to take ONCE a day for the rest of your life as maintenance?
- When I drink a cup of water, how long does it take to reach the large/small intestine? So that it dydrates the colon.
- Is the product "Experience" good to take alone for colon cleansing and does it remove MP?
- I've been taking about 1 tsp. of ACV before meals and it REALLY helps me digest my food. Is it safe to take before every meal for the rest of my life? Or is it going to burn a hole in my colon?
- And lastely, can Euchinesea cause headaches? I've been taking it 4-5 times a day (liquid) for about 3 days now because I felt a cold coming on. It did prevent the cold.

No, you can become allergic to Psyllium over time, and you may overdose on minerals and kill your kidneys if you have that much clay in you all the time. While most people assert that we don't absorb the clay, there is a white paper that says a patient with leaky gut did in fact absorb the aluminum in the bentonite clay after long-term usage.
It is best to cycle through your laxative/fiber needs, and indeed to sometimes have no fiber going thru you. Ideally, the only "laxative" you should need for the rest of your life is a good diet.

It does not in fact reach the colon. Water is absorbed completely in the stomach and small intestine, and only fluids trapped in fiber are absorbed by the colon.

Haven't heard of it. I have a list of ones that I have personal experience with and can heartily endorse in the Sources forum and the FAQ.

LIke water, it doesn't reach your colon at all unless you trap it in fiber, and even then not much. It is neutralized by the fluids in the small intestine, which are very alkaline and soothing. It should be safe to take for the rest of your life, but everything should be cycled with off periods.

Absolutely. Headache is the most common healing crisis reaction. Echinacea forces the lymphs to dump toxins, and they dump them into the colon. If you're not flushing the colon clean, they are then re-absorbed and float thru the bloodstream until the liver and kidneys can take them out again. Until they do you'll have a headache.
