Hey Shelley,
It is me again:) I'm one week into my vacation with one more to go. The gb pain is better but I'm planning a LF when I get home. I will have been on malic acid 2 weeks by then. Do you think Julia Chang's herbs would be more helpful for the LF after this? I really need to get the stones out of the gb and I usually using malic acid. I have done 14 LF's and there doesn't seem to be end in sight. I was thinking about the GCG, Coptis and Curcuma. Do you recommend this or should I just use the GCG. Thanks Gayle |

Hi Gayle! I was wondering how you were doing! I'm glad the symptoms are tapering off.
I would definitely try GCG because it is so very effective at reducing those pesky stones to chaffe, and it seems to be safer than other herbal stone crushers for people who are already experiencing pain. Sometimes if you take herbs when there is pain present, the herbs will heighten the pain as they make the gallbladder work harder. I've had GCG give me a bit of nausea when I took too much, but never pain, and I was pretty sensitive at the time due to cheating on my diet with fried chicken.
Curcoma is a blood thinner and blood purifier. It's great if you have the tendency for sticky red blood cells, but really it's just refined Turmeric. Planetary Formula's has the same thing cheaper.
Coptis promotes and increases bile flow. I'd recommend that one over curcoma if your goal is to continue flushing, as it will help you expel stones with more force.
Hope that makes sense! |

Hi Gayle
I was having GB pain, but couldnt take Julia's tinctures because they were too strong. The relief I got from taking epsom salt was temporary, but I read somewhere in Hulda Clark's book that after the LF flush and after taking Epsom salts she suggested taking the herb valerian as this stops the bile ducts from spasming. I didnt flush but I took a dose of epsom salts and two hours later too valerian (in tablet form) at night and continued to take valerian for a week and the pain went until I did the next flush - so it may help u too. |
