I am a strange one for sure! I just checked my calendar and realized this weekend is the perfect opportunity to get in a liver flush before the Equinnox.
After the flush, a few days of simple foods - then a cleansing fast over the equinnox.
(Note: to Shelley this is my second day using your cleansing drink with the ACV. WOW that is some powerful stuff!)

heheheheh! Yep, powerful!
You can flush on the equinox too. Do a semi-fast and then flush. It's a good way to celebrate that time of year.
I think it's great when people take timing into consideration for their flushes. We're much more connected to natural cycles and rhythms than we realize. |

Hi harmony
I too am doing cleansing over this time. Just did my 14th liver flush last night on new moon (around 350 small stones so far) and intend to do a flush next new moon (kind of with the Equinox sandwiched in the middle). I also hope to combine this with a clean diet and perhaps a few days of fruit or mono fasting.
Over the Equinox, I'll be on a 10 day Vipassana meditation.
I'm hoping for major results. Hope you achieve what you're looking for too |

Invincible I am so excited for you, going on the retreat.
This could be a major event for you,on a 10 day Vipassana meditation.
How cool is that.
I can't wait to read all about it.
I'm doing well this week with a clean diet. Shelley's cleansing drink really helps a lot. I've done the Master cleanse before, but the addition of the Apple Cider vinegar really works magic for me.
Good luck to you with the upcoming events.
It's going to be great!

Shawnamarie what method are you using?
I'm still debating the second oo/juice dose in the morning?
I haven't fully attempted that yet.
My last flush was pretty good. I did expell stones ( not ton's - but that's good.) I also used meditation and music to help deal with bouncing emotions. I have had some pretty emotional days following some of my earlier flushes
Be sure to come back in here and update on your results. |

Hi Harmony,
I am doing something a bit different this time. This will be flush #7 for me. I usually do the four doses of epsom salts with the OO/GF, and last time I used 3/4 cup oil to 1 1/4 cup of juice. That was really hard. I got it down just fine, but the next day I was SO nauseous. I ended up passing a good deal of stones, but it was just too much discomfort to deal with. I have never tried taking a second dose of juice and oil in the morning. When does one get to eat that day? How many doses of epsom salts do you do?
Gah. I am quite hungry right now. And my husband is making dinner! As soon as my bath water is ready, I am heading straight upstairs for a nice soak.
For this flush, I am not using any epsom salts. Instead I am using 500 mg of magnesium citrate at 9pm and then just my usual dose of OO/GF (.5 cup / .75 cup) at 11pm. I feel like that is enough for me this time.
I am also considering just doing some herbs for a while after this to take a break from flushing. I have Julia Chang's herbs, but they are so strong! I haven't commited myself to doing them. I am going to have to start at such a low dose. Last time I tried it, I halved the dose and still got a huge detox reaction.
So, that's my story! What kind of flush are you doing?
Blessings,
Shawna |

I do the epsom salts as well.
But I am growing concerned with them a bit. They are quit harsh on me.
I eat practically nothing, sticking to soups if I need something then early evening I take epsom salts in water twice. 6pm and then again at around 8. Hoping to be cleaned out by 10 or 11. Then just before bed I drink 1/2cup Olive oil and the juice from 2 or 3 red grapefruits. (this really depends on the size.
I wiz the two together and drink it down cold. Chug chug chug.
Off to bed. then early morning another dose of epsom salts, and another about two hours after that. I wait about an 2 hours after that before I eat
anything and I try to keep it light all day.
Now, I have read where some people are redosing in the early am with more olive oil and juice. then they redo the espom salts a couple hours after that. So basically they start the morning with the OO/ grapefruit juice.
SIGH... I don't know if I'm going to do that. tomorrow morning. I still have to get to the shops and buy my grapefruit for tonight.
I find the flush exhausting but I know I bounce back in a day and then feel some fabulous that it is well worth the day !
Good luck with the flush! I hope it's a great success |

I did my flush last night. I didn't do the second dose of OO/GFJ in the morning.
This is a different flush for me.
Same protocol as always. But I feel great today. Very vital and alive with energy. No overwrought emotions. (Fabulous).
My tummy is bloated but that is to be expected with the epsom salts pulling so much liquid into the digestive system. I haven't cleared very much in the sizr or number of stones as yet but that is normal for me this early in the day after.
I did some basic yoga last night, a detox bath (my first with taking the niacin). Music, a warmed up bed heating blanket on all night, very cozy.
Today the sky is clear and blue. I'll take my dog for a nice walk, and am planning a sauna visit early this evening. |

Sounds like you had a great flush harmony! Yay!
My first 10 flushes or so I didn't use Epsom Salts, but I have for the past few and I do find they are more effective (more stones) than without.
I know 2 weeks isn't up, but I think I'll do another flush on the night of the Equinox as well. My last one went so smoothly, just seems to get easier and better all the time.
A tip for you all, I find this really helps the stones rush out: After around 10 minutes of having drunk the OO/GJ, start pumping your liver and massage it downwards. Also, do that when you wake up. If you're up to it, after the 1st and 2nd ES drink, rebound lightly. |

Good flushes, ladies! I'll report now, too. This was my first flush without epsom salts and I don't think it was as effective. The good thing about substituting with mag citrate was that I didn't have that funky hung over feeling the day after like usual. And it was nice not having to drink that nasty stuff.
The magnesium citrate was not nearly strong enough for me as a laxative, either. I took 500 mg 2 hours before my oil/juice. I barely moved my bowels the next morning and then went for a colonic at 3pm. The colonic wasn't as satisfying because my small intestines were still full of the sludge I drank the night before and I couldn't tell how many stones I was getting out. I took about 1200 mg of mag citrate throughout the day yesterday and had a bowel movement first thing this morning with about 25 blueberry sized stones. They were so green they were almost black. Usually I get about 200-300 stones out.
I think I will use epsom salts next time and deal with the gross hangover.
It was nice flushing with you!

| Clark's protocol recommends way too much Epsom salts for the average female. I recommend only drinking 1 drink prior to a flush (about a flat teaspoon, or two teaspoons, in a large glass of diluted apple cider), and skipping the morning doses in favor of a Salt Water Flush or Colonic. |
