Hey Shelley,
I don't know what is going on with me. I did a LF 14 a couple of weeks ago. I'm still having some mild GB pain but it has gotten better. I have had this headache for about 10 days know and I can't seem to shake it. Along with it I feel lightheaded and kind of whoozie. In case you don't remember my health reasons for LF have been neurological symptoms that I have for a number of years. I'm soooooooooo much better and my only complaint is still this dizzy/motion/sometimes vertigo. Even that has improved greatly but I'm really struggling with it right now. Do you have any suggestions? My tongue looks normal and my diet has been good. I'm trying to follow a vata diet. I have the 4 herbs from Julia Chang do you think any of them might help? I have done some detox baths and that isn't doing the trick either. I'm getting ready to head out west for a couple of weeks and I would sure love to feel a whole lot better then this. thanks so much and I love your new site! Gayle

Hi Gayle!

When there's an issue of dizzyness, nausea, vertigo, then you really have to be sure to get enough protein in you diet, and calcium, and the other electrolytes. You should also check for iron-deficiency anemia. All of these when deficient will also give you awful headaches.

B12 is also a common deficiency. If the issues are due to a lack of vitality in the nervous system, then B12 is the most usual suspect. It won't necessarily lead to headaches, tho.

So start taking some good tonics - a Kefir shake with an egg, nutritional yeast flakes, and molasses for sweetener (great source of iron), and take Emergen-C and Cal-Mag Fizz. Let me know if the headaches become right or left side dominant.
