| What is the best way to go about preventing crazy hornomal mood swings from PMS? I know the liver is the controller of hormones but what is the best method to help it combate excess hormones. At this time i feel a liver flush is unappropriate, then again I am not much into taking anything else. I'm really stressed out right now due to school and am consuming a very limited caloric intake. I am kinda in that mood where i don't feel like caring about anything. Also one other question the other day i had consumed a teaspoon or lecithin without having consumed much fat. I then ate some triscuits about the only processed food i allow myself occasionally, although today when i learned what monoglceride ment on the ingredient list I might be avoiding these now too. But i took an hour long nap and when i woke up i had a headach in the center between my eyes and in the eye sockets more on the left side. also i was nausus and felt like i was to throw up. I was wondering what might have contributed to this. the previous night i attended a smoke filled party and i think i might have been a little dehydrated that following day. |

Crazy mood swings may not be just hormonal, altho that is the first thing you want to take care of - liver cleansing - but also address the associated deficiencies too: Low iron, magnesium, calcium, EFAs. The Protein Shake plus Cal-Mag Fizz daily for a week or two should help you maintain a calm mood, especially if you include adrenal food (gotu kola, ashwaganda, Bieler Broth, adrenal gland caps).
When there's nausea and/or dizziness and a one-sided headache, then the above deficiencies are really running amok plus low protein (nausea).
Dehydration is always a major factor, and if you cannot remember drinking at least 3 tall glasses of fluids a day for 3 days in a row, you need to take care of that first and foremost, then see how you feel, and then test for supplements.
Exposure to cigarette smoke will increase your need for Anti-oxidants like Vitamin C, A, E.
Hope that helps! |

| The bitters and coptis from sensible health has helped my hormones tremendously. If you can afford it, I highly recommend them! |
