Hiya! I'm so glad you like the site.
There's no reason why bulking up should lead to acne. Only if you rely on phony foods, powders, shakes, and totally overwhelm the power of digestion will it lead to acne. That's what everyone misses - the power of digestion and elimination. If you exceed both, you will slowly kill yourself. Doesn't matter what your ratio of muscle to fat tissue is or how well defined your abs are if you have a fatty liver, weakened kidneys, etc. You're simply not healthy and will have a miserable old age. Plenty of body builders set themselves up for just that nightmare. That's why I'm old school - Arnold and Jack La Lane - people who eat real, whole food and stay healthy well into their sixties. Doesn't have to all be raw, in fact, most people simply cannot digest a totally raw diet. Juicers really help with that.
As for what diet helps one to bulk, really any diet will, all you have to do is exceed the number of calories you need to burn. But to do this in a healthy, balanced manner that gets you nutrients as well as calories you ahve to stick to mainly whole foods. I've posted a list of foods to accent when you want high calories/high nutrients.
Definitely wait until you are done liver flushing before you start to weight gain, but when you do start, do it SLOWLY. Just like people who try to lose weight, people who try to bulk up set unrealistic expectations for each day/week. And that kills.
An inability to heal wounds means you don't have enough zinc and skin food in general, and is a marker for low vitality overall. So be sure to take care of that. I talk about skin food in the FAQ and all my diet/supplement recommendations are engineered so that these types of things don't happen. |
