Hey Shelley,
I did LF # 13 last Sat. I have been experiencing burning like sensation from my gut all the way up including my mouth and lips burning. I don't have any gallbladder pain or indigestion when I eat. The LF was very sucessful and I have felt good but noticed this burning a few days ago. Each day my stool is getting more and more orange colored. Do you have some suggestions? Thanks so much and I'm glad to have found your new forum . Gayle |

Hi Gayle! I'm so glad you found me! Please do spread the word, still plenty of people missing...
Okay, when the burning goes UP rather than down, then it's usually a lack of stomach acids. Try drinking peppermint tea and see if that helps. Another thing you can try is marshmallow root and slippery elm to coat and soothe.
How does your tongue look? Is it cracked, or totally slick and smooth? coated? |

Hey Shelley,
I will get some peppermint tea today:) My tongue looks normal but is burning as are my mouth and lips. I do ok when I eat I just can't get rid of the burn. What would cause the stools to be orange? I'm not thinking stuck stone since I'm not having GB pain but something isn't right. Thanks again. Gayle |

not a stuck stone, stuck stone means gray stools. Orange means lots of toxins and very fast transit times.
Peppermint tea should be a regular in your pantry! |

| Thank you Shelley! That makes sense cause I'm going to the bathroom a LOT more then usual. Will the peppermint tea help with the toxins and orange stool? What would have cause this? Is it from the LF and all the liver goes thru? I am drinking ionized water and I'm getting ready to have a cup of tea:) Gayle |

yep and yep
After a good liver flush you have much less bilirubin (brown) or biliverdin (green) in the bile, so the stools don't turn brown like usual. You may also be temporarily producing less bile than usual, but only gray stools and discomfort mean a stuck stone. Add on top of that the faster transit times, which means less time for the microbes to do their work, and you end up with much different stools, usually yellow or orange. It's all part of the fun! |
