Because of some practitioners who are a bit alarmist and extreme, I'd like to tackle this topic of how many flushes should one do? And how many stones should one expect to see?
If you're under 25, you shouldn't need to do more than 2-4 flushes in order to see all the results you're ever going to see from liver flushing.
If you're between 26 and 36, maybe 3-5 flushes.
If you're over 36, maybe 5-8.
These are just guestimations to keep things in perspective, the true test is seeing what comes out.
I rarely see more than 12 stones per flush. I'm a pretty tiny person and my liver is pretty small, so that makes sense! People who say they got "thousands" of stones cannot count - or don't know how to dissolve the little ones. That's just not reasonable or feasible, "thousands" of stones, you'd have to have a galllbladder the size of a mason jar for just a hundred stones! Sheesh!
Since liver flushing is hard on the body it doesn't pay to do more than you need. So if you do a flush and don't see any stones, wait a good six months before trying again, and only do them again if you're symptomatic and after taking plenty of stone dissolvers.
If your body continues to make stones your diet is all wrong. Anyone who says they had to keep on flushing and flushing is an idiot who isn't getting enough EFAs or choline in their diet. But our readers are smarter, right people? We take lecithin and drink the protein shake and stop making more stones! Yippee! |

Or you are someone who has to take birth control pills for medical reasons... I have to flush every couple months because I still get stones coming out! I try to drink dandelion tea once in a while, and that works really well in preventing them from getting stuck. What's a good food source for choline? |

| Lecithin is the best, but you can easily take choline supplements if you know you're very low and still producing tons of stones. You also need to find the right fats for your body, and perhaps take some Taurine supplements for a little while. |
