Embarassed I meant where does it generally come from ... is it perhaps by eating foods that irritate the track or perhaps too much acid reflux ... just curious Confused Thanks Very Happy

Lots of things can cause irritation of mucus membranes. When it's focused on the throat and mainly only the throat, usually the immune system is working overtime because of allergies or cold viruses, or you've got post nasal drip becuase your sinuses need a flush, or you haven't eaten enough protein or kept your feet warm enough and free of toxins enough.

I've been taking camomille, fennel and green tea/licorice to help with my sore throat; at times with a little natural unpasturized honey .. it's been a week already and it doesn't seem much better ... sigh ... I'm also eating for my bloodtype ... do u have a better solution Shelley ?? Thanks Very Happy Smile
