Okay, an important guideline for adding fiber supplementation is to ONLY TAKE A FLAT TEASPOON for the first 5 days.
You have to start out slow and work your way up. You don't want to overwhelm your intestines! It's like asking yourself to benchpress 300 pounds on your first workout at the gym.
When you want to take more, it's safer to take multiple doses of the teaspoon rather than 2 tablespoons all at once. One tablespoon at once should be okay, but only you can tell for sure. Remember most of those guidelines on the label are written by 200 pound MEN who don't consider the needs of small women.
We are not grapes in a bunch, we are individuals. Watch out for recommendations that treat people like bunches of grapes!  |
