I have tried using coconut oil several times in the past, but everytime I take it in any quantity I get a migraine (classic migraine with aura). I googled "coconut oil migraine" and actually found a lot of people for whom VCO ALLEVIATES migraines!!

I wonder if it is the nut part of it (choc has given me migraines in the past) or something to do with electrolytes.

I really love the effects of the stuff and wondered if there could be some way to counteract the side-effects.

I must say this, too. I tried a new brand this time, Nutiva, and it tastes so much better than the brand I used in the past (can't remember what). I've always heard people talk about how yummy it is and I didn't like it. This stuff is delicious. Makes me wonder if what I was eating was rancid Crying or Very sad and whether that could have had something to do with the migraines, too.

I took a tablespoon of VCO yesterday morning and started feeling that pre-migraine tingly feeling. So I took a shot of ACV and it went away! I wonder what is in the VCO that unbalances my electrolytes?
