Any opinion on this?

I bought some of Dr. Cabot's Metabocel.

I assume it is safe considering her background.

Any experience with this or any knowledge of its reputation would be appreciated.

I found this:

BRINDLEBERRY Garcinia quaesita
Brindleberry is a natural plant extract that is rich in Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) a natural substance that acts by inhibiting the enzyme, ATP-citrate lyase that converts the body’s excess carbohydrate energy into stored fat. ATP-citrate lyase does this by converting excess blood glucose, ie. excess carbohydrate energy, into fat and cholesterol. Excess carbohydrate energy is the energy ‘left over' when the glycogen storage sites in the liver and muscles are filled. By inhibiting the ATP-Citrate lyase enzyme, the HCA in Brindleberry has been reported to reduce fatty acids synthesis by approximately 40 - 70% for eight to 12 hours following a meal.

Research, also suggests that the HCA in the BrindleBerry may have a useful additional action, in signalling the brain that the ‘glycogen
