|
|
Hi,
I recently had a stool analysis and one of the results was I was deficient in medium-chain fatty acids. I started taking coconut oil and was completely nauseous and ended up vomiting. I then researched and found coconut does not agree with my blood type.
My question is, are there any other medium-chain fatty acid supplements? I know I really need them because my skin is very dry.
Thanks very much! |

All you need to do is accent the fats that are good for your blood type and let the body take what it needs. Butter and palm oil has lauric acid too, it's not just limited to coconut oil.
The easiest solution that works for most blood types is to regularly eat my Protein Shake, about once or twice a year have a bottle of cod liver oil and a bottle of wheat germ oil and take in a spoonful of one or the other, alternating days and not every day of the week. Use butter, ghee, avocadoes and olive oil as your main fats for cooking and eating, and occasionally eat a spoonful of Lecithin with meals as it's incredibly helpful to keeping the liver clean and supplying EFAs.
Hope that helps! |

| Unfortunately it is not. All cold cereals, whether granola or processed, are a cheat. There's not much real nutrition. I believe I mention this in the FAQ under diet management, the things you think are good for you but are not, or maybe granola just made it into the book.. hmmm... |

I had a bad feeling about granola since it tastes way too good and is way to sweet to be healthy ... Thank-u Shelley; once again u r the voice of reason |
