hi shelley,
for the past 4 days now, i've been having this horrible sore throat on the left side of my throat, and now i think it's moving to the right...i've had sore throats ever since i can remember, but this one is a doozy! I also have a bad bad cough, and back in Dec. i had bronchitis for which the dr. gave me Cipro .... i wasn't to thrilled to take it, but I gave in eventually, i had lived with the relentless cough for weeks, and just couldn't take it anymore.
I've been researching on diff. natural therapies for this, do you have any suggestions as to how to relieve the sore throat, and get the mucus out of my bronchial tubes.
i came across a site called OxyLifeco.com....they have a Detox product, what do you think of this comp. and this product? Presently, I drink the cleansing drink, with the ACV and lemon and honey ..... is that good enough, or should i be taking something stronger?
thanks shelley! sincerely, starlight |

When you have a cough that is a WET cough, lots of mucus, then the best things to do are:
supplement with cod liver oil and Zinc. A lack of any will make it impossible for mucus membranes to heal themselves. In defense, the body creates tons of mucus to protect damaged tissues.
Drink tons of ginger tea, eat ginger whenever you can. Drink the Cleansing Drink and peppermint/chamomile tea.
Rub your chest with Vick's Vap-O Rub. Fantastic stuff, really works. Go to bed with socks on, a hot water bottle, and stay toasty. Sweat even. Do this for an hour each night. Return to regular temperature and sleep normally.
Cleanse the liver and bowels as thoroughly as you can until all symptoms are gone. Eat an immune-friendly diet, preferably a cleansing one. |
