I'm a big supporter of sweat. Most of us working in air-conditioned offices just don't sweat enough. Some toxins can only be exhited by sweat. Sweating keeps the skin young and healthy looking. Just look at professional tennis players - don't they look great? No matter how old they get, no matter how many years of getting sunburned!
However, some of us sweat way too much. This can throw off the balance of our skin. Some of us are adrenal/allergy cases and the body's chemicals are always opening our sweat glands. To counter-act this, simply drink sage tea and use sage while cooking. It's especially great in egg dishes, beef and chicken, and it has antibacterial and anti-fungus properties so it works against candida too.
As with any other herb tea, it's very easy to make. You want to steep it for 3-5 minutes in near-boiling water. DO NOT boil it, and do not steep it for longer than 5 minutes or you kill the friendly chemicals and activate not-so-friendly ones. Just bring the water to a near-boil in your teapot, pour it over a teaspoon of crushed leaves, or about 5 whole leaves, strain the leaves out and serve with honey. Yum! 1-2 cups a day for about 10 days to 3 weeks will help the body regulate the sweat glands.
You can also make a poultice and soak your armpits for about 10-20 minutes and reduce sweating by 37%!
This may be a hot summer. Be sure to wear loose clothing that breathes, like cottons and silks, and DO wear a wide-brimmed hat when going outside for longer than 10-20 minutes.
