My theory about floaters is you get them when your liver and bowels are really filthy. That's aside from the permenant damage type floaters, which show up when you damage your retina by looking at a bright light too long. There should not be particles large enough to see in your blood, that only happens when the digestive system is entirely compromised. The diarrhea may have cleansed you out just enough for your lymph and blood to do the cleansing it couldn't do before.

I hope we're talking about the same kind of floaters! (I'm talking about the ones in the toilet!) Laughing

oh oops I've seen people use the word to mean two different things and I don't always guess right! LOL!

Yep, undigested fats is the most common cause, but there are others.

Shelley,

I'm going to schedule a routine physical soon, to get a thyroid panel done (among other things), but I wanted to throw something else by you and gauge your opinion.

I started this thread because I noticed an increase in hair loss sometime in August. I've always been slowly receding for the past 10 years, but several months ago I noticed I was shedding far more than normal.

I've been tracing my steps backwards to see where I may have made some changes in diet and routine, and I may have found it---since August I'd been mixing Kefir into my smoothies every morning. My digestion has always been a little funny, and Kefir helped it so much I just kept it going!

Could I possibly be taking too much of this stuff, and this shedding is a side effect of too much Kefir ingestion?
