Hi Shelley,
Was just wondering if you know the optimal time between eating meals and the amount of meals per day.
Some people say anywhere up to 6 small meals a day is good for metabolism, but that's like 2 hrs between meals?
I'd imagine the size of the meal would determine the amount of time between meals ultimately... right?
E.g. if a ate 2 servings/whole pieces of fruit..i don't need to wait 2 hrs before i eat lunch..etc? |

well I'm only about 110 pounds so 6 meals a day sounds pretty insane to me! LOL!
It really depends on what you eat. If you have a nothing but fruit meal, or mostly liquids like soup or gelatin or a smoothie, you can eat again within 2 hours no problem because something like that is going to leave your stomach pretty quickly. But as soon as it's a high-fat, high-protein, or very high-fiber raw salad, you should try to wait about 3+ hours before you eat again. |

lol yeah i guess 6 meals is alot! it's just that i want to eat healthy without losing muscle which is hard i guess...if only i didn't need sleep!
