I was wondering about the Candida fibre shake .. you say
"First off, find a bottle of liquid caprylic acid and add about a teaspoon to a couple tablespoons of good EV olive oil.
Add this new oil (Caproil) to your fiber shake. You can add it to any kind of fiber shake you make - psyllium, ground flax seeds, whole flax seeds, even a commercial intestinal cleanser. Mix it well. This will make psyllium much better for candida people too. Use about one teaspoon of fiber and take 1-3 times a day. "
So this means taking 2 tablespoons olive oil plus the caprylic acid, 3 times a day - total 6 tablespoons olive oil a day ... isn't this too much oil to be taking?
I have capriol - it's a combination of caprylic acid and safflower oil, but they don't say the proportions - they say to take only 1-3 tsp per day ... I was wondering if i should take more, to be more in line with your suggestions?

Oh my instructions were unclear. I meant that to show the proper proportions, not that you should add the whole entire batch to one fiber shake!
If you buy it already mixed up, which is wonderfully convenient but safflower isn't as good as olive but oh well, then just add 2 tsps to 1 tablespoon to your shake. |
