I don't understand why is this. I suffer from big flatulence, afternoon it starts and goes pretty much to the bed time. It doesn't seem to matter what I eat. I have regular bowel movements did 2 major bowel cleanses, some 4-5 liver flushes. Few weeks ago I had serious bacterial infection and was given antibiotics orally and straight to blood for three days. After about week later, I had no acne at all(first time in 10 years) and I had no gas, absolutely none, even after protein food(eating meat would cause me fart right away). I was thinking at first that maybe cleansing finally paid off(because did liver flush 7-10 days after I stopped farting), but it all came back again after 3 weeks of peace(acne to). I was so happy not to fart, and have clear skin after all that struggle. I don't get it why is it? Seems like enzyme theory or stomach acidity is not the case here. Seems more like the bacteria creating methane theory is more fit for rhis situations, and it doesn't matter what I eat or do, I'll always fart, unless I take antibiotics all my life. Anyone any suggestions?, plz help?

Sounds like you have a bad infestation, possibly mucoid placque, in your small intestine. The antibiotics killed off the baddies temporarily, but the "house" is still there allowing them to flourish. You need to do either fiber-based cleansing or Oxy-powder for awhile until you see stuff coming out.

OR it really IS a lack of digestive enzymes and stomach acids, and the antiobitics merely made it more difficult for the yeasties to do their job on the partially digested foods.

Or both.

I'm sure you ate less while you were taking the antiobitics too. So that would have helped.

It's not mucoid plaque for sure, because I cleared it all on the bowel cleanses(intense bowel cleanse: fasting, herbs, enzymes, fiber etc.)
If it is digestive enzymes, why did it go away for 3 weeks? I'm still not sure about stomach acids. I gotta do tests, although I eat lacto-fermented foods, sometimes lemon and ACV. One time in the morning I took 30 drops of Phosphoric acid and I had really bad stomachach, so I guess my acids are strong, gotta see though.
thx for reply

I did acid test and it didn't burn!!!I'm happy because I don't know what was wrong with me, after so much effort. I did only one 500mg betaine today and will go on tomorrow. except 500mg capsule contained 100mg fenugreek seed, do you think it could affect the test?what is it for? Wow I'm so happy that I found what is wrong. I was waiting with it because I just didn't believe it could be acid problem because I eat lot of fermented foods and get hungry fast(I guess). Shelley, I found out about it only on your website, how often is the low stomach acid a problem for people? And is my acids going to improve on it's own one day to a point when I will not have to take a supplement?Sry too many questions, anyway thx a lot Shelley!!!If this is a problem, you just saved my social life!!!!!THX.

does ACV help for stomach acids when drank between meals? Should it always be dilluted, even when having it with meals?

ACV will always increase stomach acid levels, which you really only need to do prior/during meals or fiber shakes. You can take ACV for its health benefits alone between meals, certainly. Yes you should always dilute it with water or juice to protect your teeth, as it is very corrossive. Add a bit of baking soda if you don't need it for stomach acidification.

I have 800mg Malic Acid capsules, would it be safe to use one a day to aid stomach acids?(you recommended 500mg daily). How long does it take for the stomach to increase it's acids naturally?(once supplementation starts)

you can try it and see.

Everyone is different, it takes as long as it takes. Check in with your body frequently by not taking anything and eating a regular but easy to digest meal and see how you do. If you do fine, then you know you only need it for the more complex meals, or larger meals.

I did a small bowel cleanse few days ago and immiadeately followed with parasite kill. Yesterday in the night I got diarrhea, woke up today and still had diarrhea. I took walnut, cloves and wormwood and right away felt nauseas and almost puking. I can't seem to trace food source, could it be intolerance to the herbs(although I used them before)or could it be die-off reaction from the parasites?
