I like having a shake in the morning with blueberries amongst other stuff in it - including coconut oil and cinnamon.

Should I really leave the blueberries out if I'm trying to kill candida?

Also sometimes I put a banana in instead - is this really a no-no too?

Thanks

Actually, about 1/2 a cup of blueberries after the first month of no fruit is fine. Blueberries don't contribute to candida much, they have very little fruit sugar. All of the berries, especially after being cooked, are pretty safe. If you mix them with spices and kefir then I really wouldn't worry at all.

Bananas however have lots of fruit sugars and are best avoided for a longer time.
