I was reading with interest the recent posts on parasite cleansing.
I have never parasite cleansed, but I'm pretty much 100% sure I have them - travelled in 3rd world countries, eaten a lot of raw fish, AND had a lot of 6-12" long thin worm-like things come out with my bowel cleanse earlier in the year (gross! ).
I want to do my parasite cleanse by the book, i realise how poisonous those herbs are, and I definitely want to avoid any kind of migration.
I'm taking liver tinctures to prepare for my first liver flush at the moment, then I'm planning to do a series of 4-8 liver flushes.
About parasite cleansing ...
1 - I'm thinking the best time for my first parasite cleanse is AFTER my first series of liver flushes, is this right?
2 - I'll do the expulsion protocol first. I've got a real problem with garlic though, I took a lot at one point trying to kill the infection in an abcessed tooth - now I just can't tolerate it at all, even Kyolic. Is there anything else I can use that parasites hate?
3 - I've got the Richard Anderson parasite products waiting to be used (details below). The Worm Squirm 1 is for roundworms, protozoa and general parasites, Worm Squirm 2 is for flatworms (tapes, flukes, etc.), and the citrus seed and Black Walnut are for microscopic and extracellular parasites (protozoa, amoeba) - and parasites in areas of the body other than the bowels.
He suggests a protocol where you do the whole bottle of Worm squirm 1 (15 days), then immediately the whole bottle of Worm squirm 2 (15 days), then citrus seed for 8 weeks. And Black walnut the whole way through (see chart below).
Each capsule of the Worm Squirm is 400mg, and I'd be on 18 capsules a day. I've got a zapper, so I was going to zap every day too.
My question is - should I follow his instructions and do the formulae sequentially without a break, or should I try and do 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, 2 weeks on, for each formula? The problem is each bottle only lasts 15 days.
Thanks

Anti-Worm Formula 1 Ingredients
Green Black Walnut Hulls - Effective against all types of worms and diarrhea. Also useful for ulcerations, inflammations and other problems that may occur with stressed bowels. A powerful disinfectant and antiseptic.
Wormwood (Artimesia Annua) - Considered the most effective of all the wormwoods. It is one of the most bitter of all herbs. Especially effective against roundworms and useful for liver and stomach disorders. It counteracts poisonous plants.
Cloves - A powerful disinfectant and germicidal agent that increases circulation and reduces gas and nausea. Some have claimed that it destroys parasite eggs.
Gentian Root - Very effective tonic and is considered effective against malaria (protozoa) and worms. Is used for liver, exhaustion, cancer, poisonous insects, and snakes. It stimulates circulation and strengthens the system.
Ginger - Known to increase the effectiveness of other herbs. It also helps reduce stress in the stomach and bowels. Reduces gas and nausea.
Hyssop Herb- Known to expel worms and is soothing and healing to the bowels, kidneys, bladder and spleen.
Mandrake root - A very powerful glandular stimulant. It is used for treatment of chronic liver diseases, skin problems, bile flow, digestion and intestinal obstructions. It helps strengthen the liver and bowels. It is one of the few herbs known to remove worms from the urinary system. It also helps remove lead and pinworms.
Anti-worm Formula 2 Ingredients
Male Fern Rhizome - Considered highly effective (the proper variety only) against tapeworms and other worms as well. It is also an astringent and tonic.
Pink Root (Spigelia marilandica: Loganiaceae) - Has been considered a certain remedy for tapeworms and roundworms. It is essential to use the proper pink root, which is difficult to obtain as it is not readily available on the commercial market.
Pumpkin Seeds - Considered to be effective against tapeworms, some roundworms and urinary problems.
Chamomile - Helps soothe upset and irritated stomach and bowels.
Senna Leaf - Increases peristalsis and increases the effectiveness of some vermifuges. It also helps remove worms.

The problem with most parasite protocols is they don't give the body time and means to exit the dead parasites. Assuming they work, they can kill off too many at once. Just a bit of senna is not going to do it.
You do have to cleanse long enough to get the adults and the eggs, but you also have to cycle in about every 3-4 days a period of severe purging. Darn I wish I could find that site I once posted a link to that explained it the best. The post got old and deleted and I've Googled it and it doesn't come up. |

Thanks - is this the site you were thinking of?
http://www.kitchendoctor.com/healthconditions/parasites/parasites.html
I emailed Ingrid, she was helpful, although she said her herbal parasite formulae were for blood parasites, she said she didn't know if they'd work for gut parasites.
Do you have any suggestions for a replacement for garlic, for the expulsion protocol?
Is after my first liver flushes the right time to start a parasite protocol?
I'm still not sure what kind of cycling to do with the parasite herbs - shall I do the herbs as recommended by Richard Anderson above, but have a break of 3-4 days every 2 weeks?
Thanks |

Sorry I didn't read your reply properly!!
What do you think about this for a protocol?
2 weeks around full moon - Worm Squirm 1 with black walnut, taking extra purging foods on the couple days on full moon (fennel, pineapple, pumpkin seeds, raw brown rice, fibre, turmeric, ACV, cayenne)
Also eating less, mostly kichadi, veggies, protein shakes
Break for 2 weeks
Next 2 weeks around full moon - same again with Worm Squirm 2 and black walnut
Break for 2 weeks
Next 2 weeks around full moon - same again with citrus seed
Or maybe it's better to go for it continuously?
Would also still like to know - what can i use intead of garlic?
And am i right waiting until I have done my first series of liver flushes before I tackle the parasites?
Thanks again |

Kitchendoctor - that's the page! Thanks!
Try using raw garlic instead of Kyolic and see if you react. If you do then use any of the other Pungent Therapy/Anti-Parasite herbs, as many or much as you can. A combo of fennel, peppermint, Swedish Bitters, would be great. |
