So......my latest experiment is with MSM. Its the strangest thing......I find that
after three days of 1000mgs of MSM my tongue, which is generally mildly coated at the back.....gets fully coated white. Now if one believes
hair analysis....sulphur is slightly high.

I did have a fully white coated tongue when I was at my worst a few years
back....so this makes me wonder is the MSM is good for me or not. No other
bad feelings btw....

Oh...I am also low in plasma aminos....which are largely helped by sulphur....thats why I started it in the first place.

One other question.....what does the stomach and intestines need for digestion. I know my digestion is still poor as I feel badly after a large meal.....especially if I eat close to going to bed.

What are the key elements.....I tried HCL for a month and could take six
of them with no reaction. I tried a lot of salt for a month....even though my plasma sodium is a bit high.....and that didn`t seem to help....

What could be missing down there.........whats your best guess.

The other necessary component for stomach acid is iodine, you could try supplementing that as it has been known to correct low HCL levels (along with the requisite sea salt, which you have already been doing).

Hopefully someone will have info concerning MSM for you!

Thanks Chardy....I recognize you from the Curezone forum.......Yes, Iodine
is something I have been adding by taking Kelp.....but I do have a bottle of
Lugols that is one of my next steps......

Another one I just found out about is Niacin......I think my low stomach
acid is a stress symptom and Niacin is one of the cures.....

I will be adding these things every week til eventually I start to digest
and get some aminos into my brain....hence relieving the stress.

Please read the FAQ, I list what you need for helping the body to create stomach acids.

well, all I can say is that sulphur is one of those weird compounds that people respond to very individually, like alcohol. It's the acid side of the pH electrolytes so I don't like recommending it a lot, plus it has a lot to do with how the body reacts to heavy metals and detoxing. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't, and it's impossible to guess ahead of time.

Having said that, it IS a very essential mineral, especially in terms of bowel health so ... at most, stop taking it temporarily until your tongue clears and see what happens.
