Drinking water while out and about

I realized I wasn't drinking enough water when I started teaching English classes several days/evenings a week and I didn't want to have to go to the bathroom. I know I'm dehydrated which is causing me lots of problems. What I want to know is how does everyone drink enough water when you have a job where it's not convenient to go to the bathroom constantly? Need some tips please! Thanks!

Yeah, that's one of the sucky parts of being a teacher! LOL! and it's serious too. I deal with it every day. The only answer is get used to going to the bathroom whether you really need to or not before class (as soon as you get there in the morning), during lunch, and during your conference period. Just GO. Take a time out. So that you KNOW it's okay to drink.

I keep two water bottles and sometimes a safe soda at strategic places in the classroom and sip sip sip. One of the chores my student aid is given is to go out to my car and bring up all of the water bottles for the week. And I have a bottle in the car for the drive home. I buy the little bottles and sometimes give or sell them to the students because I worry about them too.
