| Funny thing this..For a long time I have had a small, white vertical mark on the nail of my left litte finger(almost like a little jagged mark). Recently, however, it has been constantly moving upwards - going from the middle of my nail to the very top of it! I have been suplementing with both Calcium, Zinc and Iron recently. Could it be an indication of my mineral ratios, or is it perhaps something completely different? |

I have one of these too, and never thought to question the moving of it - I figured it's in my nail and it's moving upward as the nail grows. Wow - I just looked at it, and not only is it still moving up, but it's about as small as a speck now! Wonder how that happened!

Of course it's going to move, the nail is growing so whatever mark was at the base of the nail will come to the top of the nail and then be cut off etc. It shouldn't change shape tho except for parts of it getting clipped off.
The white marks usually happen either during stressful times that interrupt absorbtion, or due to overdosing on minerals or metals of some kind. So you may want to reduce your cal/zinc doses for awhile, or consider stopping them altogether. |
