Hey fellow Canadians ,
What do you guys buy to get your calcium and magnesium. I've looked everywhere and I can't find calmag fizz in Canada anywhere. You can get it online from the states, but then thats 25 bucks American for the product and shipping plus like 10 bucks for customs when it arrives, so it turns into pretty much a 40 dollar expense. Geez! Do you guys know of any good alternatives that are reasonably priced availabe in Canada? I'd really appreciate it, other wise it costs a fortune to get decent supplements.

Hi:
This is a really, really late reply, but I don't come to this forum often! - Sorry I didn't notice your post earlier.
Anyway, I noticed that you live in Vancouver.
I buy Cal-mag fizz from Victoria's Health food store, on lonsdale ave. in North Vancouver. (It's on around Lonsdale and 17th street.) They sell Cal-mag fizz for $27 cdn.
Otherwise, I've seen Cal-Mag fizz at Choices markets downtown, and at Whole Foods in West Van. There is also that big health food store on Granville street -- I think near Granville and Nelson.
hth!

Thanks Meumar! Thats good. I actually live in Surrey, but I could skytrain out to Waterfront and take seabus to North Van once in a while and buy a few containers of calmag. 27 bucks is a decent price too. Well, thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Ryan:
Actually I just discovered that Victoria's Health has a webpage:
http://www.victoriashealth.com
They have an online catalog you can order from, but I couldn't find the cal-mag fizz on the webpage!
They definitely have it, though, because I just bought some from them about a month ago. If I were you, I'd call them -- they're quite nice, and perhaps they would be willing to ship it to you so you wouldn't have to bother making the long trip from Surrey. |

Hi meumar,
Thanks for the reply. Actually right now I'm at University in Edmonton. The cheapest I can find here is 33 bucks. I'll have to make do with that, when I come home for Christmas I'll call Victoria health and stock up for the winter semester. I go through it fairly quickly because I don't drink milk (I would, but I'm having trouble finding even non-homogenized milk in Edmonton... what a pain Canada's milk laws are huh?). Anyways, thanks again.

Hey people in Canada,
There is a new site that sells calmag fizz in canada for a good price of 19.99. They also sell a number of Garden of Life Products. Woohoo!

Damn you
I cant find any calmag in the UK and its by far the best looking calcium supplement ive encountered.
I often check ebay.com to see if people have any and are willing to ship it to the UK, alas not yet! |

Hey Chardy!
You should give the people at http://www.healthtoyou.ca/ an email. They say shipping on all international orders is 10 bucks CAD, but they don't specify which countries they ship to besides Canada. Its worth a shot.

And they use Paypal (who are evil...) but its good for me because I only have a debit card.
Thank you very very much for the link, you may have solved a big supplementation issue for me
(+ with the exchange rate, Im getting it for next to nothing!) |
