If any of you are in the Big Easy I'm so sorry I didn't give you forewarning so we could meet up, this has all been last minute. I'm flying back to California tomorrow (Saturday). I'll probably stop in at Cafe Du Monde one last time for a decadent treat.
I love it here! It's sad to see the devestation that hurricane Katrina left, but I'm happy to know I'm helping with the restoration by being a tourist. I've long planned to visit and I figured they need my money now more than ever so here I am. The food is to die for, the French Quarter is fantastic, I've walked miles and miles and taken most of the walking tours and met some really great people.

Thanks for posting the photos. It was really helpful for me to see you indulging in "non-cleansing" foods (coffees, baked goods, etc.). I'm having a very hard time wrapping my mind around "balance" - I've been super-strict (no cheating whatsoever even through the holidays) for over three months now. I'm so afraid of bad symptoms coming back (ear problems, muscle/joint pain, etc.) that I'm afraid to add any more new foods.
Anyway, glad you had a good time and got to take a vacation! Welcome back! |
