Hi....

I've done 5 flushes now, and am experiencing a slight pain just below my right ribcage, level with the lowest part of the ribcage on the side closer to the centre of my body. Doesn't cover a large area, maybe a circle 2" in diameter (I converted to Imperial measurements for you south-of-the-border kids....).

I will refer to it as pain although it is very slight, sometimes not pain at all, just a "tickling". But there is a constant feeling that "there's something there", a sensation as opposed to just comfort.

Each flush has yielded between 4-7 pea-sized stones (sometimes green, sometimes brown) and 8-15 smaller ones. I used Julia Chang's formulas on the first flush, but have noticed absolutely no difference in stone size/diameter/consistency with vs. without them. (My mother, however, used them for longer period before the flush, and had blue-green sludge.)

Have not seen anything resembling parasites, not that I'd really know what to look for. Once, in between flushes mind you, there was a small flat piece of really thin "lacy" looking thing, not bigger than 1/2" long.

Timeline:

About 4 days after the 3rd flush: the pain started
A couple of days later: figured I had a stuck stone, because of the pain as well as pale bowel movements, so I did a mini-flush, felt a little "pop!" and then the pain went away for a while.

A few weeks after that: the tickly feeling is back. I then did a 4th flush.

The sensation then gets stronger, back to pain, so I did the 5th flush 3 days later, figuring maybe the stones "move around" and get stuck again while I'm not flushing. (Do they?).

The stones this time were all clear green like jade. I should tell people my body produces semi-precious jewels. It would freak my co-workers right out. It's now back to tickling with the occasional pin-prick of pain.

....What do you think this pain is all about? I didn't think it was anything serious, but then I read Monique's posts about how her crazy parasite issues started with a teeny tiny dull pain....and got a little worried.

Could be parasites. Are you eating lecithin? You may be severely deficient in choline, which is in lecithin. The lecithin will dissolve stones and prevent the formation of new stones. Once you are sure you are free of stones (2 flushes that yield no stones) then you can assume it's parasites.

Interesting. There's good news and weird news.

Good news, the pain I referred to before went away after a few days. Also, I've just done another flush, and I have noticed that today I feel "lighter" than I usually do, my head feels clear, it's both physical and emotional.

Weird news, this time I saw (in addition to the usual stones) a whitish-pink stringy thing, quite thin, I couldn't tell how long it was but not more than 20cm I don't think. I was pretty grossed out. I didn't care to investigate it any more than I did.

From my reading of posts it seems that it could either be mucoid plaque or a worm.

I suppose that makes it a wait-and-see, all around. I'll try taking the lecithin (maybe a regular dose for the next few weeks, and a bigger dose before my next flush). Thanks for the suggestion(s), and happy holidays. Smile

That would be a worm. True mucoid placque is dark and twisty, the shape of our intestines. Sometimes there are white threads, which is yeast, but if it's transluscent it's a worm.
