hello everyone!

I think I have a very sluggish liver, and I want to support and dredge it with liv.52 , the problem is liv.52 I can obtain in Poland contains additional iron supplement, and I am/my liver is probably suffering from iron overload, as indicated by my hair analysis. I also suffer from Mercury toxicity, and that, combined with iron overload, is one of the reasons I need to support my liver.

So can I take liv52. ? I don't really have access to any other liver dredging complex, I also try to take all the supplements I can that are included in Livatone Plus formula.

thanx
Mike

Oh, I also take a supplement for stones with GCG, and I've just finished taking Bupleurum formula.

You can significantly reduce the volume of iron by donating blood.

I had extremely high values (185) when the normal range should be below 20 optimally. By donating a pint of blood you can decrease the iron by about 33 points. You can get special permission from a physican to donate every 2 weeks instead of the normal 90 day interim.

Hope this helps with one aspect of your question.

hey Myra, but will donation lower TISSUE iron? cause that's when the problem is.

Besides, I am not sure if I would want anyone to be exposed to my toxic blood LOL:P

In what ways is your blood toxic? They actually need iron rich blood for certain patients. Otherwise you can specify that it should not be used for others. You can also have a hospital bleed you to reduce the iron. Bleeding is the only way to get it out of the body.

I do not know for certain if it will reduce the amount of iron in the tissues - but my thought is that it would because that iron is supplied by the bloodstream. The more pure the blood, the better condition the tissue is. Again though I am not 100% certain.

It was a bit of a joke Myra, I say my blood is toxic because of my health problems and heavy metals.

And the thing about my iron is that I may have high tissue iron, but my blood iron is right in the middle of the scale - and I need to get my tissue iron down. I guess I will talk to a doc about it, thx.

Ok, now I'm confused, need some advice!

I did some ferritin levels test a couple of says ago and it showed to be on LOW END of the scale (58 ng/ml with a reference range up to 435).

My iron levels from a couple of weeks ago are 94 ug/dl, ref. range 59-148.

It turns out I'm actually low in iron, what the heck is going on?? I need to know these things cause my liver is working poorly and it was suggested in the hair test that it could be partially due to iron overload.

I appreciate all the advice!

there's usable, bio-available iron, then there's the bad shit from pans and fortified foods that ends up in our hair and tissues, does us no good. So it's possible to be low on the good stuff and overdosed on the bad stuff. Take the good stuff if you need it, just be sure to get another blood test after awhile and discontinue once normal. don't overdose!

Yeah, that's what I thought shelley - that the iron in the hair could be the so called "free iron". Shelley, Myra before recommened blood donation to get tissue iron down, would blood donating also significantly lower the free, "bad" iron that gets discarded in the tissues?

And as far as the iron supplemention - would u say it was safe to take in liv.52 formula? The liv.52 available in Poland is only with Mandur Bhasma and it contains Fe ions of 3mg per tablet. (it says on the bottle to take 3 tablets up to 4 times a day). liv.52 is a liver dredger so I figure the benefits of taking it would outdo the potenital danger of it having iron right?

thank u for your answer!

The main and best way to get rid of a heavy metal that is already in the body si with a chelating agent. Nothing else works as dramatically. You must take liver protectors and dredgers at the same time, and protect the kidneys too. It's a difficult protocol.

To prevent further absorption of any metals except what you want, and to help the body shed the bad ones, take judicious amounts of good supplements and alternate your intakes - calcium and AD one day, iron and C the next, zinc after that, etc. Having no deficiencies reduces the receptor sites so bad versions can't get in as easily.

Great thanks for your tips shelley!

I feel stupid asking all this, but there are just some things I still would need to know:

I still need to prepare my liver for the metal chelation and my 5 amalgam removals which are still to go. I have been cleansing my liver for the last couple of weeks and I felt a difference, it finally started working, my memory improved etc, but I had my first two amalgams replaced on Thursday , and despite the precautions (rubber dam, high volume succion etc), I still inhaled some mercury vapour, which I felt right away after leaving the office. I prepared myself for the procudere with all your heavy metal tips from the FAQ (chlorella before the removal, zinc, vit E, seleium, some sulphur etc + vit c after the visitm, milk thstle, liv52) and was sick the whole day yesterday (did two coffee enemas plus coupious amounts of liver teas) but I feel todasy like I've recovered.

STILL, I can tell that my liver suffered from it, in spite of all my efforts, and since I have over a month until my next procedure, I will focus on cleansing it, as I want it to be in top shape. Now my question is:

ARE LIV.52/COFFEE ENEMAS/DIET (carrots, beats, selery etc),/SUPPLEMENTS (vit C, E, zinc, mag/calcum, electrolytes, chlorela etc)/and of course SULPHUR INTAKE ENOUGH TO CLEANSE MY LIVER ITSELF OF HEAVY METALS, as I can't obviously do a chelation yet?

And one more thing - what would you say was the best thing to protect the kidneys from damage? C, E, A, zinc, selenium - anything else? I know milk thistle has some kidney protecting properties as well.

thanx!

Hi I was just reading over some old posts and was woundering how your progress is going. I noticed nobody answered your questions so maybe by me asking a question will refresh your question to Shelley or others that can answer your question. They probably would want to know how you are doing first.
