taking them. About 2 years ago I started purging my body. First the colon clense then the parasite clense then back to colon and intestinal cleanse. Lots of P & B shakes, apples, cleansing drink plus tons of research and studying.
About a year and a half ago I started taking Inosotol/Choline and MSM. I then added Zinc so I could start smelling things again and a couple months ago I added Kelp, Lethicin and B6 plus COQ10 to my regimine. At the time I was doing liver flushing too. After 5 flushes, the last one being last September, I felf kind of funky when I would take my thyroid medication (Armour). Then, a month ago, I stopped cold turkey, taking the Armour. I have been holding my breath worring about turning into a zombie (which would happen if I didn't take them every day). But, after a month, I am still OK. I have energy, I don't want to take a nap in the middle of the day. I can get through an entire day of work without being thoroughly exhausted.
Oh, yea, and I skin brush and take detox baths. Well, I haven't taken a detox bath for awhile because winter is pretty harsh and too cold for me to get into a bathtub. bbrrrrrr. I will start again as soon as the weather gets a little warmer.
Shelly, do you have any thoughts on how I can tweek this regimine a little to get the optimum results from this. I am still a little leary about not taking thyroid meds so I have my bottle right by my bedside but haven't touched them yet. I have my fingers crossed

it sounds like you're doing great! The only thing you didn't mention was cod liver oil, be sure to get plenty of good oils because skin food is food for the endocrine system too.
Be sure to get regular lab tests (like yearly) to make sure you have enough thyroid in your system. In between tests just do the temperature test occasionally and make sure you don't go much below a single degree below your normal waking and active temp. |

I hate cod liver oil. I took it until an entire bottle was gone then I stopped. I bought it at the local drug store. It smelled like fish, yuck but I will start again. Also, I use coconut oil instead of butter on toast. It tastes pretty good. I was thinking about starting on flax oil but I read where it inhibits thyroid hormones. And, I cook with olive oil and put extra oil on foods when I am ready to eat them.
Another thing I forgot to mention is I take Niacin (the flushing kind) every now and then. I have to watch when I take it because it heats my body up so much. It is like exstasy to feel the blood tingle on my skin. So much so that I have to lay down and just enjoy it till it goes away. I do it on the weekend now and then. I was thinking about getting the non flushing kind and try to take a small amount every day.

Next time you want to take the Niacin, do the whole thing - take a detox bath!
More than 40 grams of Niacin is hard on the liver so watch the amounts and only take it once a week. |

One thing that has been troubling. For the past two weeks, my eyes have been weeping and weeping with no letup. I have to have a tissue in my hand all the time dabbing the water away. It gives me a headache, especially on the left side of my head deep in (not face). The left eye weeps alot more than the right eye. Or........
Can you have candida in your head? I have never had it and never thought about it but something is going on. Either that or how about parasites that I don't realize is there. Or, do you think the skin brushing is bringing it on, as in, the lymph nodes are draining (the node at the base of my head in back)? I also brush my teeth with deluted oregano oil every day (my teeth are yuk and rotten but can't afford to get them all out - they fall out by themselves but the oregano oil has halted it)
I want to combat this but don't know where to start. I did notice today at work I broke down and ate some ravioli with tomatoe sauce and cheddar cheese then had a clark bar. The weeping seemed to ease up somewhat???? I had been eating lots of stews and soups and laid off any pasta or carbs till now.

Tears are one way for the body to exit excess acids, or "yin" as the Chinese would say. Sounds like you've been giving your body things to help old deposits drain finally. if you don't wnat them coming out your eyes, get a colonic or cleanse the intestines so the drainage gets re-directed.
Just in case it's liver related, as eyes usually are, try drinking peppermint tea. |

Don't buy cod liver oil from the local drugstore! It is likely to be very poor quality and most likely rancid. Buy it from a specialist or online. Look for a product from a reputable company. You don't need that much everyday, so capsules are fine. The advantage of capsules is that the oil is protected from oxygen and so will be much fresher. Also fish oils are preferable to cod liver oil.
Stay away from flax oil - although it only has a small amount of goitrogens, still you don't want to mess with your thyroid. Stick to Fish oil capsules.
And make sure you get 2-4 tablespoons of coconut oil a day. This may seem like a lot, but if you mix it with food it really isn't. |

Today was a day of testing my resolve in this. It has been three weeks since I last took my thyroid replacement. (When I was 23 they told me that my thyroid had died and would have take the replacement for the rest of my life.) Well, that was before I discovered I might be able to help my body help itself.
I woke up today with a slightly swollen face. My balance was off and would stagger slightly when I walked. My eyes are still bothering me alot. I reached for a thyroid pill but stopped. Instead I made myself a spinich salad with acv, lemon juice, olive oil and raw egg plus some cyeanne pepper. Then I had a couple pieces of whole wheat toast with Philladelphia cream cheese and some sunflower seeds. I went to work and felt much better. The swelling went down. The rest of my body feels great, it is just my head that is giving me problems. My liver must be, and has been for a really long time, in very bad shape. I took some cod liver oil capsules and Livatone. I haven't had time to get the fish oils yet but I will.
Finances and work won't let me do much in the way of cleansing right now. Although I did a complete one last fall including the liver flushes. As soon as things ease up I will start on another cleanse focusing on the liver flushes.
Wish me well, this has been a hard cross to bear for too many long years and too many goofy doctors and I want to get rid of it.
I appreciate the advice given so far and will check back again to see if there is more. Thanks.......
